The rounding feature used for transcripts pages has been replaced in favour of a more accurate two decimal place system. You will see this change on your live sites on June 18th, 2014.
This affects the following transcript pages:
- My Progress
- Grades tabs
- Manage > Users > Transcripts (available to Campus Admins, Campus Managers, and User Group Managers).
The rounding was replaced because in some rare circumstances, a grade would be rounded up to show a failed result for a grade that looked like a legitimate pass. Here is an example: A user takes a test with a required pass rate of 75%. The user obtains a grade of 74.89% and fails the test. The system automatically rounded the user's grade up to 75%, thus it showed a correctly failed result with a conflicting incorrectly passed score.
